A friend of mine recommended this designer: http://www.beatrixbell.com/

She is based in Baton Rouge, and everything is hand-made and colors are customizable. I am pretty sure this is where I'll get my earrings.

also the Silver Sun on Coursey has some really nice stuff! and they will custom make anything you want let you look at it - then decide whether you want to purchase or not with no pressure!
